Between Pages / Scanner

Between Pages
Between Pages

Current text scanning techniques have various disadvantages due to the limitations of the available technology and its procedure. Typical problems are bent edges, uneven brightness of pages, and the like.

My design is a vertical sheet-like scanner of 1mm thickness, inserted \'Between the Pages\' of books and documents. It operates on organic photodiodes and transistors, requires very little light, and scans two pages simultaneously. Touch-pad buttons control the devise, and the design of the cover allows to open it from two sides.
