EXPECTED / Curtain

EXPECTED
EXPECTED

EXPECTED was initially designed for a safer walk home. Many people get robbed and attacked even if they are in front of their houses. The illusion of people standing by the window will make muggers hesitate.
EXPECTED also acts as a warm welcome for people who are single, live by themselves or feel lonely. The imaginary friends will always wait until he/she comes home.

White silhouettes of three people are silk screened on a white cotton curtain. They disappear at daytime but become visible when the light is turned on inside the house at nighttime.
