Qua.comm / earthquake communicationsystem

Qua.comm
Qua.comm

Qua.comm protects and supports private individuals during earthquakes. Installed indoors or attached to keys an EARLY WARNING gives instructions for self-protection. After a quake an EMERGENCY CALL can be send to Qua.comm-units in the neighborhood. LOCATING allows individuals to find injured neighbors. In addition, in the first hours and days, when internet, mobile or fixed telephone systems are usually broken down, it gives people the chance to COMMUNICATE with their family. Technically it is based on “mobile selforganizing adhocnetworks” whose sensordata gives rescue teams a quick overview and simplifies the coordination of their resources.
