Light is mysterious. It can exhibit properties of both particles and waves. It seems visible, yet its unsubstantial. However, most lighting design tries to give light a form, converting the intangible into a solid object. Ive long been keen to find a different solution. In stead of a lighting design, I began with the concept of A Design of Light, which is meant to interpret the nature of light. I gave this lamp a simple form. You may regard this as a lamp without a lampshade at first glance, yet when you turn it on, mists of water would spring out and magically this lamp turns into a mass of light floating in the air.
