Honeycomb / Structural Packaging Design

Honeycomb
Honeycomb

A hexagonal design resembling the beehive is a space-saving yet solid structural design. The designer adopts this design concept and applied into the packaging design of multi-pack candy jars: aggregating three hexagons into forming a beehive shape, to wrap in the sweet candies.
Key Structural Features:
1.Using single material to achieve a seamless one-piece structural design.
2.No adhesives.
3.Punctured design was used to (a) hold the jar; (b) form the handle.
4.A pack design that holds three jars in one.
5.Key features of the jar are clearly displayed.
6.Easy for users to carry.
7.Reduce the amount of packaging material used.
