gras-narbe / Corporate Design

gras-narbe
gras-narbe

The area that once marked the former German domestic border, secured by military personnel and fences, is now a nature reserve. The corporate design for a fictitious exhibition entitled “gras-narbe” (sward, lit. translates as grass-scar) deals with this division and the following “healing”. The design visualises the process of the division and unification of the two former German States, the ecological restoration of the former (border) region. For the corporate design, two colours have been chosen which, when mixed, turn into green – the colour of nature; and two typefaces which unite in a semi-serif version.
