Sailing ferry ship powered by modified Flettner-Rotor-Sail
The construction is based on the idea of a newly designed ray. In this draft A Flettners propulsion is used as a basis and modified. Because the rotor has an adjustable angle position the driving force can be divided between buoyancy and propulsion components. If necessary the small control rotor can be switched to a Savonius rotor to produce electricity and allow the ship to be self sufficient.
It was possible to make an entirely new construction, so I developed load-bearing surfaces as additional decks, as the apparent wind on deck amounts to Om per second on sailing ships.
