Kloc / Timepiece

Kloc
Kloc

Inspired by the enjoyable motion of rolling out the balls during bowling, the original concept is threfore captured as a sphere moving smoothly and continuously on a plane surface.

The Kloc is an artistic representation of a functional mechanism. To reduce the number of moving parts, the Kloc utilises sweep quartz and magnets to control movement of the interface between body and time indicators.

The Kloc is manufactured and formed from materials readily available anywhere on the globe: fine-brushed aluminium, magnets and varnished steel cavity sphere
