I.Boom / Autonomous Oil Spill Response


Oil Spills devastate natural resources, endanger public health and disrupt economy.
Preparing a timely and coordinated autonomous response to such an emergency of undefined magnitude, that can happen anywhere on the ocean, at any time, and in any kind of weather, is the goal of the I.Boom Project:
can be used in every oil spill scenarios
fast containment and concentration of the spread oil
applies the principles of swarm intelligence: robust, flexible, decentralized, self-organized
adapts dynamically and autonomous to the given conditions
can be used in harsh weather conditions
can be installed on oil tankers/deployed by helicopter
