S-Toucher / medical instrument


S-Toucher is designed for the deaf, especially whose broken hearing nerve. Compensating hearing with touch and vision, it’s a portable device turning sounds into vibration and graphics. That means it acts as a new sense organ, a new ear.
1.A microphone collects environmental sounds and turn it to electronic signals
2. A sound-vibration transducer called giant magnetostric tive transducer transfers those signals into vibration
3.People can feel the vibration from their wrists
4.Also, they can get relevant graphic information from a LCD screen
5.After some times of learning and adaption, the user could identify various sounds around
