Friendly Vent / Subway vent

Friendly Vent
Friendly Vent

The “Friendly Vent” grille design for subway surface vents addresses challenges with current designs in terms of functionality, aesthetics, and safety. Engineers must incorporate these essential, yet challenging elements of each subway system which are often bound by design limitations including structural limitations, pedestrian interaction and overall appearance. The ‘Friendly Vent’ addresses many of these problems and provides a pleasant walking environment without sacrificing function.
