This luminaire is designed to be used as a mood/room lighting device. This nature of the light creates a soothing and soft feel to a room due to its use of indirect lighting. In accordance with post-modern values, this design embodies minimalist values and form. The circuit for the lamp is created thorough a copper based conductive liquid bridging an open circuit. The liquid is pumped up through the structure; it then falls slowly down towards the sump of liquid at the bottom, which completes the circuit. The viscosity of the liquid ensures a slow steady flow of liquid. This action is intended to create an interesting and entrancing visual.
