The 3d plywood boat uses a patented process to work up beech wood veneer. This provides the possibility to create 3d rounded surfaces with plywood parts. Those parts are used for the hull and for single parts on the deck. In another process belmadur is spread all over to strengthen the resistance of the beech wood against mildew, moisture and weather influences. Furthermore it makes the wood hard as teak without loosing the comfortable wood features. The concept is modular and the manufacturing process is cost effective and a serial fabrication is possible, which prevents pollution. It is environmentally sustainable because beech wood is afforested in many countries. The use of tropical wood and epoxy can be avoided.
