Stornaway is a weather-protection-system, which is for hand drive wheelchairs. The system consists of a roof, a blanket for the legs and a frontal add-on protection.
The head and the upper part of the body are protected by the roof. The roof-system is fixed on the back of the wheelchair, so that the back of the user stays dry.
A blanket can be used for the legs and can be connected with the roof. The blanket is also upon the armrests and the seat can’t imbrue.
The user can deploy the roof easily with a motor. If he don’t need it, it is retracted at the back of the wheelchair.
If the sun is shining, the roof protects the user.
