The pots thermoplates from Rieber use a multi-layer material that, because of its special physical characteristics, is also used in medical science, as well as in the chemical and automobile industry. The stainless steel and aluminium combination SWISS-PLY® ensures, when cooking with induction, that the maximum temperature automatically remains at the Curie Point (250°C). This avoids health risks and prevents ruining the food. Below this temperature, the magnetic properties of SWISS-PLY® are activated enabling cooking with induction with thermal qualities ten times better than that of pure stainless steel.
