The device guides the user from his current location to his destination by prompting him if he is proceeding in the wrong direction. The user is first alerted by the vibration of the vibration pad at the hand area. The direction of reorientation is indicated by the rotating ball felt by the user's fingertips. Once at the correct orientation, a buzz or vibration prompts the user to continue his path. It has an user-friendly Braille interface for the visually handicapped and is able to plan the shortest and safest route through integration with the transportation system. It allows the user to be more "independent" through such functions.
