Sacer / CD case

Sacer
Sacer

This cd case was developed in a project using bionics, with the objective of creating any sort of packaging. The folding mechanism had its development based on the folding of the scarab (Scarabaeus sacer) flight wings, and then adapted to the CD measures. Using only paper for the base, preferably recycled, and making use only of cuts and folding, this product may either expose the CDs or compact them for transport. It is closed by one elastic string and a Brazilian seed tied to it by knots. This string passes through the CDs’ wholes and is laced around them, tiding them together
