The intention was to present an image of the Alps not as yet another copy of a myth, but as a mysterious yet real world that exists behind the artificial scenes of advertising a presentation that resorts to both clichés and authenticity at the same time.
The huge market built upon the myth of the Alps is shown, as well as the consequences and dependencies that this market entails. The aim was to construct and show a world which makes the Alps a real experience for outsiders too not only visually but also through the senses of hearing, smell and touch (grass mats and f&f).
