Firun / Rescue sledge

iF concept design award 2008

iF concept design award 2008

Firun is a foldable rescue sledge, which can be carried on the back comfortably while folded. The sledge is installed on an air cushion. Lightweight and its small size are the main benefits of this inflatable rescue system. The air cushion not only ensures lightness but also provides a smooth ride for the rescued. It also simplifies the storage and the transport of the sledge. Snow enthusiast challenge themselves and take higher risks, off the secure ski runs. Firun is a reaction to that, a rescue system that can be used in the hard-to-travel area.
