Djembe Lamp / A vibration-powered light

Djembe Lamp
Djembe Lamp

In Africa, some areas lack stable electricity for families to live and study at night. Djembe, a traditional instrument that originated in West Africa, still plays an important role in the lives of Africans. They will improvise on various occasions and start tapping on the drum to make music. We hope to use this vibration energy effectively by using "vibration power" technology, which converts vibration energy into electricity, to store the mechanical vibrations of drum beating into electricity. At night, the drum can be disassembled into two lights for children to study or for women to do laundry and household chores.
