My design is to solve the nonverbal discomfort of menarche in adolescent girls aged 10-11. Some mothers are too embarrassed to discuss, ending the conversation with "you will know when you grow up". A few words of introduction cannot make this complicated issue clear. Girls have the courage to have autonomy over their bodies. What they lack on the way to becoming a “period boss” is in-depth guidance. So I designed a kit, “Hello! My Period”, where parents and children may chat beyond dialogue, overcoming menstrual difficulties together.
