Street trees in the city are often damaged by typhoons and heavy rains. If the roots of trees fail to grip the soil to resist the wind force, the tree trunks may tilt or even collapse, posing a threat to public safety. IoT Tree Management Smart sensing technology for structured and geographic information system to monitor and manage trees in urban areas with high pedestrian and vehicular traffic. Tilt Sensors are installed at the lower part of the tree trunk to monitor the tilting angle and swaying trajectory of the tree. If the angle of a tilted tree exceeds a threshold, the system will send a message to trigger an alarm.
