iF DESIGN TALENT AWARD_02 2021

Most existing body bags do not give enough respect to the dead. The body bag should maintain the final dignity of the dead and never let the dead appear to be in a garbage bag. This body bag is designed in the shape of a coffin to allow for a more dignified and respectful way of holding the body. It comes with a tag to record information about the deceased. The tag has a Velcro strip inside that can be used to secure the bag when storing it.

We often see scenes in the news media where dead bodies are put into body bags during major accidents. There is indeed a horrible impression of a garbage dump. This design gives victims and their families a sense of greater respect expressed for the dead, yet with little increase in cost.
