The chapel is a preaching room encouraging the dialogue with God. Centrally located in the Olympic stadium, it is formed by an elliptic gold-plated wall, which envelopes the room like a screen. Biblical quotations as mural graphics cover the golden surface. According to the Evangelist Johannes, Christ is the Logos, the word and, according to a Christian Neoplatonic in the 6th century, gold is the color of the heavenly beings close to the Logos. Created by quotations from the Old and New Testament, the cross appears behind the altar. Word, symbol, material and space are united in an inseparable entity.
