Discipline: Communication

The central theme of the adidas group’s 2006 annual report, published under the slogan “Setting the pace”, is the company’s new strength and increased potential following the successful acquisition of Reebok. The title page and image pages focus on the expansion into new sports segments, which has been made possible by the acquisition, and present a new, more varied range. “Movement” forms the main graphic theme, which is expressed by rhythmical photo series (close-ups, long-shots), lines and graphic elements (arrows). The diagrams and tables also conform to the graphic theme, as do the product pages.
