Fabrique placed a number of essential emotional values at the core, with the authentic character of jenever as the starting point: tough, proud, clear, honest and direct, no nonsense, workers drink, moment of pleasure, and the social environment: Schiedam, the sense of community in the old days. A concept with beautiful historic images from the days when the production of and trade in jenever played an important role.
The logo designed refers to the design style and typography of jenever labels. A field of tension between the past and the present is created, thanks to the combination of historic images and clear typography and colours.
