Bookaclan Kigo Hub / Literacy & digital skills

Bookaclan Kigo Knowledge hub was established to drive literacy development and digital skills acquisition in a low-income community school in northern Nigeria. In a region where about 80% of young adults who have completed primary/basic education can not read (Source: World Bank), and a region with the greatest burden of out-of-school children in the world, this project aims to change the prevailing narrative. The hub comprises a library with recreational books(to help kids develop a love for reading), an ICT centre and a recreational corner for fun learning and psychomotor activities. The kids now have access to limitless opportunities.
