Its purpose of establishment is to meet the needs of girls aged 0-18 years who have experienced various forms of abuse who are in need of a safe shelter away from home. The center provides direct and referral services to survivors who are admitted at the institution. It is tailor made to provide comprehensive response to survivors through the provision of emergency health aid, legal aid, psychological support, counselling, nutritional aid and skills development. The overall goal of the shelter is to keep survivors from any further potential harm from the perpetrator with an aim of supporting them in dealing with the traumatic experience.
