Sustainable Value Chain / Rural development, food sovereignty, agroecology

The project aims to develop a local and reproducible agroecological chain around millet and maize cereals in Senegal. Its objectives are to :
- Relocate food systems and reduce dependence on imports
- Increase income and reduce unemployment
- Improve the nutritional quality of food
- Promote agroecological transition
The project is conducted in partnership with the Federation of Non-Governmental Organizations of Senegal. By supporting 150 family farms, 250 bakers and women processors as well as processing units and stores, it enables more than 42,000 consumers to have access to healthy and sustainable products made from local cereals.
