Women Techsters Initiative / Bridging the digital literacy gap for women

The Women Techsters initiative is an intentional effort to upscale the Nigerian Women Techsters Initiative which has trained 2400 women and girls across 12 communities in Nigeria. The initiative aims to bridge the digital and technology knowledge divide between men and women and ensure equal access to all opportunities. We plan to empower 5 million girls and women across Africa with varying degrees of digital, deep tech, and soft skills required within the technology ecosystem by 2030. The program currently runs in 5 African countries including Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa and Egypt.
