The Rakshin Project for Safe Homes / Skill-building Youth to Prevent Sexual Violence

While we say ‘Stay Home, Stay Safe’, homes are not safe spaces from violence for roughly 50% of India’s population. The Rakshin Project's uniqueness lies in its 360º holistic approach by gaining direct access into families (a previously impenetrable social unit) addressing Denial-Silence-Shame-Stigma through a systemic intervention with 4 Million Youth Pan-India. The project aims to prevent, Gender-Based Violence & Child Sexual Abuse by skill-building the Youth Volunteers to #MakeHomeaSafeSpace through a 2 Year Fellowship Programme complete with Resolution Mechanisms (Legal Aid/Therapy/Creative Expression) and Conversations for Accountability
