New York-based Croatian conceptual artist Kristian Kozul wanted a monograph to represent his art to the international art scene. We designed a book-object for the artist who deals with viewers emotions triggered by individual interpretation of transformed ready-made objects. It is not only a collection of his reproductions but it is also his interpretation of them. The form and substance conflict of his work is transformed into a book concept. Only by precise observing we find a morbid connection between form and content. Binded in different covers made out of black or red velvet, or for a limited edition, white perforated artificial leather filled with old pins.
