Subject: museums and young people. The posters are designed as a computer-drawing that consists of many straight lines in three basic colors (cyan, magenta, black or green, orange and white on black ground). The lines form by the density of their mixture the word “Museum” on the surface.
Young people have a high interest in new technologies, therefore the designer used a computer as a design instrument to create a drawing with the simplest tools.
The opening hours of the museums were another important criteria to the designer. These hardly match with the working hours of potential young visitors. In general the museums open during the day and expand their operating hours only for special events. So, the working hours and a certain lifestyle that is focused on the nightlife, is an impediment that stands between the museums and the young people.
Considering these difficulties, the designer has chosen two colors for the background: black – the symbol of the night/nightlife and white as a symbol of the day.
