Lhayak has developed a new kind of entrepreneurship by acquisition-design-manufacture-sales of yak hides from Tibetan nomads, giving back yearly 5% of its net profit to the nomads to build a sustainable development of their tribes and to sponsor seminars on vocational and entrepreneurship trainings for young Tibetans, transforms its model of entrepreneurship into lectures and books, encourages young Tibetan to start their own businesses, and helps promising young people to open Lhayak stores in their hometowns. In addition to increasing income of the nomads and young Tibetans, it also creates more employment possibilities.
