Discipline: Communication

As an approach to improving traditional monochromic LCD displays for camera settings, this interface is built around the concept of “User Assist”. The color interface is displayed on the back of the camera. Information that is usually presented as an enumeration of numbers has been transformed into a visual representation of graphic illustrations. Other user-aiding functions have been added to minimize confusion. Consequently, the interface makes camera operation easier and encourages a better understanding of the camera’s inner workings. Applying the “User Assist” concept throughout each setup stage improves the experience of using the camera as a whole.
