KUMOVIS R1 / 3D Printer for custom bone replacement implants


KUMOVIS R1 is a medical 3D printer that makes patient-individual bone implants affordable and brings them directly to the point of care. For the first time, this printing technology offers a clear cost advantage compared to conventional processes. Thus, the vision of custom implants as a primary treatment method with all its patient benefits becomes feasible and accessible.

The designers focused on the user-oriented design of an integrated product system consisting of printer, tool trolley and software. This makes the system easy to use, even with a low level of knowledge.
