Nepalese girls are frequently exposed to situations where they feel embarrassed about their periods and be treated like a disease. This leads to them to stop all outdoor activities including school. It is almost impossible to properly manage menstrual pads, a piece of cloth mostly, in school which causes frequent absence eventually leading to dropping out. This widens the educational gap between men and women. We designed a pad cover that limits the existing pad fabric to focus on absorption and cover more flexible situations during the period. This sustainable solution utlizing existing measures will pad the educational gap.
