Anne Frank was a Jewish girl who wrote a diary from 1942 to 1944 while hiding with her family in a house in Amsterdam during the German occupation in World War II. In August 1944 she was reported to the Nazis and deported to Auschwitz. Anne and her sister Margot died in the concentration camp of Bergen-Belsen, only a few days before it was liberated.
Annes diary gives an insight into her personal fate and the time of the Holocaust, how involved persons experienced it. It assures us that these times will never be forgotten. The poster is a typographic visualisation of remembering and making something forgotten visible again.
