Social Distance Device / Assistive product for the visually impaired

Social Distance Device
Social Distance Device

A product that adapts to white canes and empowers visually impaired people by detecting distance to people in front. Useful during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Key features:
- It detects distance to people ahead by using a camera and real time video processing. This feature enables users to prevent proximity, to identify the location of people, to understand which direction people are walking, etc.
- It gives an accurate idea of distance inconspicuously and unintrusively. It only gives (haptic) feedback when the user wants it, by keeping the thumb button pressed.
- It makes it quick and easy to disinfect hands.
- It charges wirelessly.
