Compared to an adult's, a kid's sin is thinner and more permeable, causing a higher vulnerablilty to outside stimuli and pollution, higher temperature, and more sweat. There are two different types of stoma: temporary stoma and loop stoma.
In case of infants' stoma, it has a protrusive part and stoma's size is bigger than stomach's. Kids' feces is more humid, they defecate more often, and break wind more frequently than adults do. Accordingly, for kids, the damage that kids will receive will be bigger if the stoma is left without being taken care of. To prevent this from happening, kids' sitter or parents have to take constant care of stoma.
