Pivot / Women's Personal Protective Equipment

Pivot
Pivot

In 2021 the majority of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is still being designed for the male body. Consequently, 95% Of women working in emergency services are hampered in their work by ill-fitted PPE.

Pivot is a soft concealable body armor designed to optimally fit women's bodies. Pivot increases the protective coverage, maximizes women's mobility, and increases women's comfort significantly whilst executing their job.

Wearing unisex, often ill-fitting PPE is a significant safety- and health issue for women on the work floor, and Pivot's objective is to provide a different perspective on how to design inclusive life-saving PPE.
