SafeCross Signaling / Crosswalk Signaling

SafeCross Signaling
SafeCross Signaling

According to the WHO, 1.35 Million people are killed every year in road traffic accidents, 26% of which are pedestrians and cyclists. SafeCross is designed to help pedestrians cross the street safely. It projects beams of light ahead on the road crossing surface, ensuring that people walking can see the symbols even if the are not paying attention or looking at their phone. The peripheral lighting LED's indicate to pedestrians where to stop safely when waiting for the lights to change. The system is connected via mobile data so that the symbols can be changed remotely and reminder messages can be shown such as "Remember to wear your mask".
