People today are much more concerned about sustainable development than in the past and tend to buy electric cars instead of gasoline ones. One of the main challenges for electric vehicles is charging infrastructure. Most charging stations do not have places to rest. Therefore, we designed a green charging station, where drivers can rest and interact with others.
In an emergency, people can take shelter in the station. There is a rooftop helipad for emergency use. In order to make the station self-sustaining, we installed solar panels and rainwater harvesting systems, which can generate renewable electricity and water for the station.
