Discipline: Communication

“In order to remain humane you have to raise your voice every now and then.” This is what the HOW TO magazine attempts to achieve. In each and every issue various opinions and facts are compiled to assist readers in painting their own picture. The first issue of this bi-annual publication is dedicated to the dichotomy of human beings and developed space: HOW TO architecture. Topics range from how the restructured Gelsenkirchen main station affects the natural habitat of Schalke football supporters to a piece on skateboarders’ attitude towards urban architecture written by Iain Borden, Head of the Bartlett School of Architecture.
