HELPER / Cooking utensils for disabled people

HELPER

iF DESIGN TALENT AWARD_01 2021

iF DESIGN TALENT AWARD_01 2021

Helper utensils are designed to allow people without arms to safely prepare and cook food, thereby helping them live free and independent lives. A lot of thought went into these utensils, which are gripped by the feet.

Helper is a kitchen tool family that is designed especially for people without arms. The concept offers people with disabilities a safer and more comfortable cooking experience by carefully examining their needs and working on forms that enable a better foot grip. The product family allows people with disabilities to provide for themselves in a comfortable and dignified way. The project is highly feasible, has a good aesthetic quality and the video presentation is very clear.
