The waist assist equipment is designed to provide transportation assistance and safety protection for China's frontline flood fighting soldiers. In some Chinese cities along the River that have been threatened by floods for many years, people can only rely on manpower to carry out high-intensity and high-risk rescue work due to the damaged dam area. However, the health and safety of soldiers is often overlooked. The design aims to reduce the waist strain of soldiers when carrying sandbags and make the work safe and efficient through the structure of non-power assisted exoskeleton, quick-filling airbag straps and safety buckles.
