Did you know that Taiwan has the second-highest recycling rate in the world? However, Taiwan calculates its recycling rate based on the idea that “as long as it’s tradable, it’s recycling.” Many other recycling mistakes increase recycling rate and weight, contributing to the myth of Taiwan’s success in recycling.
So we identified 14 ways in which people frequently misclassify trash, as well as their incorrect concepts. We hope to convey recycling knowledge through interesting dialogue and visuals, raising awareness of the positive impacts that the sub-categorizing of recycling can bring and encouraging the effective reuse of resources.
