TAXI' / car-hailing service

TAXI’ is a service to send offline taxi-hailing demands to taxi drivers through public telephones. It contains a new button placed on public telephone, and a light box placed outside telephone booth. Under the pressure of online taxi-hailing services, people who are not using car-hailing apps may feel difficult to hail a taxi because most of the taxi resources are occupied by online passengers. TAXI’ not only helps this group engaging into online car-hailing system with a traditional way, but also gives old public facilities “a second life”, which contributes to the construction of inclusive communities and sustainable cities.
