Ciconia / Gender Equality

Ciconia

we use the image of the storks. Surrogacy is the core of the work. However, storks is a symbol of the gospel, which satirizes people's choice of surrogacy and beautifies surrogacy. Among the seven storks, there are all kinds of postures, ranging from energetic to dispirited. The storks is made of wire. Each storks carries a baby in a commodity box. We hope that the works can reflect the real dark side of surrogacy, so that people can understand the cruel fact under the sugar coating of temptation, and reflect the social phenomenon brought about by surrogacy. If surrogacy really prevails, there will be more discrimination in this world.
