When the earthquake occurred, a large number of people were trapped under the rubble. Some of them became permanently missing without being found in time. Existing life detection technologies rely heavily on life detectors and rescue dogs that are inefficient and cannot adapt to complex terrain. TOLIFE can fall from the plane at high altitude and detect signs of life within a 5-meter radius. Mass of sufferers can also use TOLIFE to alleviate the need for emergency civil communications which was interrupted because of the earthquake.
